We love planting new trees and hedgerows - from a single specimen tree to enhance an area of your garden, through to a vibrant new hedge to add beauty, colour, privacy and a valuable habitat for garden wildlife.

Hedges

We provide a complete hedge planting service. From initial advice on types of hedge plant through to ground clearance, soil preparation and conditioning through to planting out your new hedge, we are here for you at every stage. Whether it's a mixed native hedge, full of variety and year round colour to encourage wildlife to your garden or a single species Beech, Hornbeam or Hawthorn hedge to provide a living border for your garden, we can help.

Whips, Root-Balls or Pot Grown

You may want an "instant" hedge to provide screening - we can achieve this for you planting out semi mature "root-ball" or pot grown plants that give height and cover from day 1. If you have a little time we suggest "bare-root" or "whips"; smaller, cost-effective plants that will mature over the years to create your perfect hedge.

Ornamental and Formal Hedges

Elegance and beauty - formal hedging brings a special statement for your garden. Feature hedges or perhaps a  "Par-Terre" with neat lines of Box, Lavender or Yew, planted out with precision, love and care by the Trees n Gardens team.

Specimen & Standard Trees

Singular or small groups of stunning specimen trees can add a real 'wow' factor to your garden. We can supply and plant trees from small saplings through to semi-mature trees up to 6M tall to give instant impact. Pleached trees - often supplied on a trellis frame to encourage extended horizonal growth can give you that instant hedge or screen appeal.
